The enterprising artist has come up with a creative way to get kids involved in housework: by transforming crawling babies into cleaning machines.
The entrepreneur has combined the classical' onesie' babygro with specially designed mop heads resolved to the legs and arms that allow babies to brush the floor as they learn to crawl.
The $39(£ 24) Baby Mop is the brainchild of the U.S. site BetterThanPants.com and it was motivated by the Japanese ad of a related invention.
In their blurb for the novelty product, the writers on the site joke that the outfit will' educate your child a strong work ethic quickly on in their lives' while helping to teach them not to drop food on the ground.
They're going to say that the kid's going to get a nice exercise, burn off energy, and do muscle toning. And sleep much better, too.' Mike Parker of BetterThanPants.com said,' We've sold about 100 in just one month since we added it to our site.
It seems that all the customer feedback has been very positive, but
we get some negative emails about the idea of the actual product.
' The idea was to create the actual product of a Japanese web commercial. '
I believe that the idea was put forward as part of a competition on ridiculous inventions in Japan, but it was never sold anywhere.
"But that's a true deal, it's a legit product and it's very, very successful."
The baby mop is available on Amazon for less than $23.
